What to look for in a (good)
Photographer
Are you on the hunt for a good photographer but are getting overwhelmed? Have you gotten inundated with dozens of photographers saying they, "think they'd be a great fit!"
Yea, I've been there. Finding photographers for my own elopement and reception was exhausting.
I've put together 7 tips on choosing a good photographer so you can immediately weed out some of those profiles that you keep getting hit with!
Your Session
How to prepare for
What poses will I be doing? What if my partner doesn't want to do this? I'm awkward behind the camera!
These are all typical questions and comments I see before sessions on Facebook and in general - let's dive in and get you ready to be photographed and have some fun!
What does a timeline look like for a
Wedding
I've put together a few wedding timeline samples so you can get an idea of what a day typically looks like. I've included my notes, so you can see what my thoughts are throughout the day!
Every wedding will be different, and every couple and vendor team will vary. I've had weddings that stay on timeline almost perfectly, while others have timelines that get thrown off by a few hours due to unforeseen circumstances or just wedding day craziness.
Looking for a different style of
Photography?
That's totally fine! Everyone has different taste and some might want a different vibe than others. My editing or style of photography might not be for everyone. Hell, you might not even like ME!
I've compiled a list of other photographers with different styles in case you find yourself looking for something a little different. Feel free to browse through their work.
I believe in lifting others up, not in competing with each other - I earn nothing from recommending other photographers.
